DDIO source
Host Explorer supports the following functionality for DDIO source:
- Browse a source listing member
- Create-a-shared-directory-and-database
- Delete a shared directory or database
- Delete a DDIO source listing member
- Lock or unlock a DDIO source listing member
- Display-DDIO-source-listing-member-properties
- Browse embedded source
The icons in the following table are associated with DDIO datasets and members in Host Explorer.
Icon | Description |
DDIO dataset, shared directory, database, or PDSE dataset - A specialized VSAM RRDS dataset created by the Compuware Shared Services utilities. This can be expanded to display a list of its members. Only VSAM source listing DDIO files are supported in Host Explorer. | |
Migrated dataset** - This can be recalled to become an active dataset (see Recall Migrated Datasets for an explanation of how to recall a migrated dataset). | |
DDIO member - Refer to the functionality listed above for the actions that can be performed on members. | |
Automatically locked member - A DDIO member that has been locked by language processor functioning. This indicates the most recent duplicately named member, which can be across a shared directory. The member is affected by auto-delete processing. | |
Manually locked member - A DDIO member that has been locked by a batch utility or online command. This indicates that the member is ineligible for auto-delete processing. |
