Changing the Schema for Target Tables in a Load Specification

There are two ways users can change the schema for target objects in the load specification:

  • Change all occurrences of a given schema to a different schema.
  • Change the schemas of all selected objects to a different schema.

To change all occurrences of a given schema to a different schema

  1. On the Loader - Objects tab, click Schema.png. The Schema Selector dialog box appears.
  2. From the Schema to be replaced list select the existing schema to be changed.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To list all schemas available in the database, press Enter or click List with the default filter (*) in the Filter field.
    • To filter the list of schemas, from the Filter field, enter text on which to filter the schemas, then press Enter or click List.
  4. Select the schema to change to and click OK. All objects with the current schema are changed to the new schema.

Note

Target object existence is validated after changing the schema.
