Create New Credentials


Credentials are created from the Resource Administration stack bar.

To create a new credential:

Important

You must be a Data Privacy Administrator or a Data Privacy Global Resource Administrator to create new credentials.

  1. Open the desired repository and project.
  2. In the Resource Administration stack bar, select Manage Credentials. This opens the Manage Credentials view.
  3. Click Add. This opens the Managed Credentials dialog box.
  4. Enter a Reference Name for this credential.
  5. Enter an optional Description for this credential.
  6. Enter a Login Name for this credential.
  7. Enter and re-enter the Password for this credential. If your site allows lower or mixed case passwords, then code passwords in the appropriate case.
  8. Click OK. Your new credential will now appear in the list of credentials.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
