Appendix F - BMC Compuware Product Maintenance Levels

BMC Compuware products Abend-AID, Strobe and Xpediter have been enhanced to utilize LOADLIB/SSD naming conventions to automatically locate Source Support files. Here are the product release levels and PTFs required for these enhancements:

  • Abend-AID 12.4 with PTF AAD213Y
  • Abend-AID Common 12.4 with PTFs ACD213Y and ACD213Z
  • Abend-AID for CICS 12.4 with PTF CFD213J
  • Abend-AID 16.5 with PTFs AAE174Y, ACE174Y, and ACE174Z
  • Abend-AID for CICS 16.5 with PTF CFE174J
  • Abend-AID 17.2 and higher -- as part of the base product
  • Strobe 5.2 and higher -- as part of the base product
  • Xpediter/TSO 9.3 with PTF XTK0055
  • Xpediter/TSO 9.4 with PTFs XTL0014, XTL0019, & XTL0035
  • Xpediter/TSO 16.5 and higher -- as part of the base product
  • Xpediter/CICS 9.3 with PTF XD*N101
  • Xpediter/CICS 9.4 with PTFs XD*O016 and XD*O056
  • Xpediter/CICS 16.5 and higher -- as part of the base product

 You can use the Compuware Maintenance Utility (CMU) to easily determine your running libraries contain these PTFs. Here is sample JCL for the CMU.
