Extract and FTP WLM policy
Go into WLM – panelid IWMAPLGO.
- Enter “2” equal to: “2. Extract definition from WLM couple data set”.
- On resulting panelid IWMAP01, pull down the “File” menu.
- Enter “5” equal to: “5. Print”.
- After seeing the message “Output written to ISPF list data set (IWMAM001)”.
- On same panelid IWMAP01, pull down the “Options” menu.
- Enter “1” equal to: “1. Process ISPF list data set”.
A job will be submitted to JES2. Remember the job name to find it in SDSF.
Instructions following assume SDSF use. Revise independently for IOF, JES Master, etc.
- Find the job on the STATUS panel. Put a “?” beside the job, then press Enter.
- Locate output data set SYSUT2 PRINTLST, put an “S” in the NP column, then press <enter>.
- Pull down the Print menu.
- Enter “2” equal to “2. Print open data set…”.
- Fill in “Data set name ===>” enclosing the name in single quotes.
- Pull down the “Print” menu.
- Enter “4” equal to “4. Print…”.
- Pull down the “Print” menu.
- Enter “5” equal to “5. Print close…”.
- Now the WLM Policy will be in a data set to be either of the following:
- downloaded to PC to be emailed in ASCII format to support@mvssol.com
- to be FTP to ftp.mvssol.com in ASCII format
