Introduction to JAL test facility
The JAL Test Facility (JTF) provides, through ISPF, an integrated test environment that allows you to select and edit JAL, then evaluate it using data collected from your own JCL in the form of a Job Profile. JTF displays the results of JAL processing, shows the logic path taken, and lets you examine the contents of Job Descriptors and the value of Logic Variables. JTF also includes support for managing libraries of JAL source and Job Profiles derived from your test JCL.
