JSS ADD

Add to List of Programs Bypassing Allocation

The ThruPut Manager JSS ADD command allows an installation to bypass certain types of allocation processing for IEFBR14-type programs:

  • If the primary disposition for a data set allocated by this type of program is DELETE, HSM recalls are not necessary.
  • If the data set is a tape data set, it will never be opened, and allocation is not needed. This command adds programs to the list of program names for which recalls are bypassed.

Scope: System

Duration: Until TMSS is restarted, or until removed by JSS DELETE.
