Job Action Language Display

This command displays information about the current JAL.

Scope: System

Duration: One time effect.

[PRIMARY]
[SECONDARY]
[ALL]

? | HELP

Requests the command syntax from HELP.

PRIMARY

The primary JAL is displayed.

SECONDARY

The secondary JAL is displayed.

ALL

ALL JALs are displayed.  This is the default.

Examples:

/JAL DISPLAY

This command produces output of the following format:

DTM4730I JAL DISPLAY 081
  DESCRIPTION=’description’
     SOURCE=source dsname MEMBER=dsname
     DSNAME=load dsname MEMBER=member
     GENERATED ON DATE=yyyy.ddd TIME=hh:mm:ss
     BY LANGUAGE PROCESSOR V7 R1.0 #V071074
     LOADED ON DATE=yyyy.ddd TIME=hh:mm:ss

In this display, ptf-level represents the PTF level of the responding ThruPut Manager, and  low-level represents the lowest PTF level that can load this JAL properly.

Notes:

  • If the JAL initialization statement was not specified when TMSS was started, an error message is issued and the command terminates.
  • For information on secondary JAL see "JAL-compare-facility" section in the DAL/JAL User Guide for more information.
