$DJ (JES2 command extension)


Display Job Information

This extension to the JES2 command $DJ automatically issues the JOB DISPLAY command and displays the result in addition to the standard JES2 output for a specified job.

$DJ
jobnumber | ‘jobname’
[LONG]
jobnumber

The JES2 job number.

'jobname'

The name of the job that is displayed, enclosed in apostrophes.

LONG

This keyword triggers the LONG form of the JOB DISPLAY command output. Such output includes the application level JOB command display.

The display includes the JOB DISPLAY output as well as the JBS and SLM outputs since these applications manage the specified job.
