Requests the command syntax from HELP.

NODE

Requests a display of information for a current JES2 node in the Control File.

NODE nodename

Displays the Control File information for a particular JES2 node.

NODES

Requests a display of information for all JES2 nodes sharing the Control File.

OPTIONS

Display the settings for the Control File. The performance values displayed (MAXDORM, MINDORM, MAXHOLD or MINHOLD, and DEPTH) are for the ambient system, while the RHOLD value applies to all systems sharing the Control File. This is the default.

STATISTICS

Displays the Control File cycle totals.

STATISTICS RESET

Clears the statistics entries in the Control File.

TRACE

Displays the last 100 Control File trace entries.

TRACE ALL

Displays all the Control File trace entries.

Examples:

To display the current settings for the Control File:

/CFM DISPLAY

This command could produce the following output:

DTM6108I CONTROL FILE OPTIONS:
  DSN=TM.CONTROL.FILE ON SYSV03
     MINDORM  MAXDORM  MINHOLD  DEPTH  RHOLD
           1     6000      50     25   ON

Note that if a MAXHOLD value has been specified, the value is displayed instead of MINHOLD.

To display information about the current node:

/CFM D NODE HQ

This results in a display similar to:

DTM6113I CONTROL FILE NODE DISPLAY
NN NAME     ACTIVE SPOOL DSNAME AND VOLUME PREFIX
== ====     ====== ==============================
-- HQ       YES    SYS1.HASPACE,SPOOL
  LAST UPDATED: MAR 22 AT 12:52

To display information about all nodes in the Control File:

/CFM D NODES

This produces a display similar to:

DTM6113I CONTROL FILE NODE DISPLAY
NN NAME     ACTIVE SPOOL DSNAME AND VOLUME PREFIX
== ====     ====== ==============================
03 BRANCH3  NO     JES2.SPOOL.DSNAME,VOLSE
01 BRANCH1  NO     SYS1.HASPACE,SPOOL
-- HQ       YES    SYS1.HASPACE,SPOOL
  LAST UPDATED: MAR 23 AT 09:17
Warning

The node number is listed in the first column headed NN. This is the node number required for the CFM DELETE NODE command.
