Milestone 14: Configure Topaz Workbench Integration

In this milestone, you will configure the integration between ISPW and Topaz Workbench.

Important

Roles involved: ISPW Installer

Task 14.1 Check ISPW Maintenance Level

Ensure ISPW has all current maintenance applied.

Task 14.2 Check and Setup Communication Configurations

Ensure the following are defined to ISPW:

  • WZCMXPRT - defined in the Install Dialog

Important

See Network Connections for a diagram showing all the connections needed for ISPW to integrate with BMC Compuware Enterprise Services (CES) and Topaz Workbench.

Task 14.3 Check Values in CT Server Definition

Ensure the following are set in the CT server definition in M.SV.

  • ISPWCT choice/field CSS Socket value
  • Encryption type for communication with Topaz Workbench. Valid values are:
    • TLS
    • TLSv1
    • TLSv1.1
    • TLSv1.2
    • SSLv3
    • None

Task 14.4 Check Communications Access

Ensure your firewall allows:

  • the WZCMXPRT port to be accessed by the Host Communications Interface (HCI) started task.
  • the CSS Socket to be accessed by Topaz Workbench users.

Ensure the Port defined in the CSS Socket for CT is also open and available to Topaz Workbench, because Topaz will connect directly to the CT for file transfers.
