Dates and Times
When ISPW Sets are created, the three date/time values listed in following Table are specified.
Dates and Times
Date/Time | Description |
---|---|
Set Start | The date and time that the Set will be dispatched for execution. |
Deploy Implementation | The earliest date and time that the Deploy Implementation process can begin. Staging can occur before this time. |
Deploy Activation | For defined activation processes, this is the earliest date and time that those processes can be dispatched for execution. |
Some or all of these date/time fields may or may not have been displayed on the Set Create screen. Whether they’re displayed depends on the processes defined for setting them at a particular site.
Set Exec Status
The Set’s Execution Status (Exec Status) is highlighted in the above example. The various Deploy Statuses are described in Task List Status Area – In Process Messages.
Close/Archive
To Close and Archive the Assignment, Release, or Set, overtype the Status field with CLOS and press Enter. Alternatively, you can type CLOS on the Command line and press Enter. The Container is marked as closed, but can still be seen from the Container List by specifying Closed as Y.
An Assignment can only be closed if all components are at the Production level or there are no components associated with it. A Release can be closed as long as there are no components at the Test level or there are no components associated with it. Sets can only be closed once they are Complete or have been Terminated due to a failure.
Once a Container is closed, it is no longer possible to add Tasks to it. The Container and its attributes are moved to history, and all users are effectively detached.
Cancel/Delete
To Cancel or Delete the Assignment, Release, or Set, overtype the Status field with CAN and press Enter. Alternatively, you can type CAN on the Command line and press Enter. The Container is deleted from the system. It must be empty before this function is available, which also allows unused containers to be cleaned up and removed from the system.
