Add the module to an assignment

In this example, assume a REXX exec called TREXX03 must also be included in the list of modules for this change package. It must be added to the Task List, checked out, updated, and promoted back into Production.

Add REXX Exec to Task List

To add a new item to the Task List, click Add on the Tool Bar, or type A (Add) on the Command line and press Enter. The screen shown in the following figure is displayed.

Press ENTER to add entry, END to terminate

On this input screen, enter the following:

  • For module Type, enter CLST. (A list of valid module types shows in the lower portion of the screen for reference.)
  • For module Name, enter TREXX03.

Press Enter. A “Task Added” message is displayed in the top right corner of the screen for confirmation.

If more tasks were to be added, you would press Enter after each Task to be added, then press End to return to the Task List.

TREXX03 Added to Task List

All this does is add module TREXX03 to the Task List. No action has been performed on it yet. As shown in the following figure, there are now twelve Tasks visible in the Task List.
