Purpose | Use this page to display a banner announcement on each page of the space. Create the Space announcements page in the master space, outside of the Home branch. You can version the Space announcements page to enable different banners to be published into different target spaces, however, the banner that is displayed in the versioned (master) space itself only displays the most recently-published banner. If you find errors in the banner area of your versioned space and you are sure the Space announcements page is set up correctly, try publishing the page to the same space. Removing | When an announcement is no longer needed, remove the BMC Space Banner macro. | |

Step 14—Specifying unrelated disguise criteria
The File-AID/Data Solutions Criteria Menu screen is displayed when you select a column for data disguise in the Data Disguise - Column/Field List.
As the selected column is an unrelated column, you enter the Criteria Menu in Unrelated Mode. Unrelated criteria can be defined for one or more of the unrelated or not associated columns/fields.

Specifying Date Aging Criteria
File-AID/RDX displays the Aging Criteria screen when you select option 1, DATE AGING, in the File-AID/Data Solutions Criteria Menu.
It enables you to enter criteria to be used during the date aging process.
Unrelated criteria can be defined for one or more of the unrelated or not associated columns/fields. You receive the message “Field modification not allowed by RDX” if you attempt to replace a column/field that is not available for unrelated criteria.
To specify a formatted aging criterion, choose a date field and enter the relational operator, a numeric value in the century, year, month, and/or days field, and the appropriate date pattern. Leave the fields blank for fields not involved in the aging criteria.

DATE PATTERN | Specify the date pattern exit to call for this field. The date pattern exit converts this date into a standard date format used in BMC Compuware File-AID/Data Solutions processing. DELETE (DEL) | Deletes a criteria set (change and associated selection criteria). |
DISPLAY (DIS) | Specifies a display format. |
DOWN | Scrolls down. |
END | Ends display of the formatted criteria screen and displays the Criteria Menu. |
FILLER (FILL) | Controls display of FILLER fields. |
FORWARD (FWD) | Positions the display to the next criteria. Synonym for RIGHT. |
GLOBAL (GBL) | Displays the GLOBAL Change Criteria panel which shows the defined global fields (variables). Use this panel to create criteria which will test values of global fields. Valid only if a global field has been defined. On the GLOBAL Change Criteria panel, you enter change criteria in the same way you enter change criteria on the record layout; the normal relational operators are available to operate against the global variables. |
GROUP (G) | Controls the display of occurrences of group-level items. |

REDEFINE (RED) | Controls the display of data item redefinitions. |
REFLNG (REF) | Controls the display of BIT/CHAR REFER field length reference lines for PL/I data. |
REPEAT (R) | Causes a criteria set (formatted change and selection) to be repeated. |
RESET (RES) | Causes excluded lines to be redisplayed. |

RIGHT | Positions the display to the next criteria. Synonym for FORWARD. |

SHOW (S) | Displays LEVEL, NUMBER, FORMAT, OFFSET, or PICTURE information for the selection fields. |
SYNC | Controls the display of the SYNC term for fields in a COBOL record layout. |
UP | Scrolls up. |
VIEW (V) | Displays the View Criteria screen which is a keyword summary of the current settings for formatted change and selection criteria. |
ZERO (Z) | Controls the display of leading zeros in the numeric data fields. |

Selecting a Date Pattern
BMC Compuware File-AID/Data Solutions displays the Available Date Patterns screen when you don’t enter a date pattern in the Available Date Patterns column for the selected column/field to be changed.
BMC Compuware File-AID/Data Solutions is packaged with more than 50 common date patterns. For any dates that cannot be handled by the supplied date pattern exits, you may add your own date pattern exits. See “Creating Your Own Date Pattern Exits” in the File-AID/Data Solutions User Reference Manual for information on adding your own date pattern exit.

Reviewing the Unrelated Disguise Criteria
The File-AID/Data Solutions Criteria Menu screen when you return from specifying the aging criteria.
This screen provides an overview of how many sets of disguise criteria have been defined for the current, unrelated column. In this example you can see that only 1 set of Date Aging criteria has been defined.
You can issue the VIEW primary command to view the internal format of your criteria.

Reviewing Information for Unrelated Disguise
When you return from the File-AID/Data Solutions Criteria Menu after specifying disguise criteria for an unrelated column/field, File-AID/RDX displays the following Data Disguise - Column/Field List.
This panel now displays the object’s columns/fields and the disguise rules that are assigned to any of them, in this exercise the unrelated rule you just created.
Use the I line command to view unrelated disguise information.
