Specifying the "New" JCL dataset

The Compare NEW Dataset Specification screen allows you to specify the NEW JCL data set you want to compare. It displays the Compare Mode that you specified on the Compare - OLD Dataset Specification screen.

Steps:

  1. Type FASAMP.JCL.NEW in the "NEW" Dataset name field.
  2. Press Enter. File-AID displays the Compare - Execution Options Screen as illustrated in the following figure.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
