SETUNDO (SETU)

The SETUNDO command activates or deactivates the UNDO command. The initial setting is ON.

The command is available in the Edit function in all modes.

ON

Activates the UNDO command.

OFF

Disables the UNDO command.

Guidelines

Disabling the UNDO command before making massive changes improves the response time and avoid exceeding available memory. The alternative for discarding your unwanted changes is the CANCEL command.

The setting for change recording is saved in your File-AID edit profile from session to session. Use the PROFILE primary command to display its current setting.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
