MESSAGE (MSG)

The MESSAGE command controls the display of the message line available at the bottom of the Browse and Edit screens. The display of the message line is one of the terminal characteristics of the user profile data set.

This command is available in the Browse and Edit functions in all modes.

ON

Turns on the display of the message line available at the bottom of the Browse and Edit screens.

OFF

Turns off the display of the message line available at the bottom of the Browse and Edit screens.

Guidelines

Use the PROFILE command to display the current MESSAGE value.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
