COLS (COL)

The COLS command displays the COLS information line to column numbers.

The command is available in the Browse and Edit function in Character mode.

The COLS information line is a ruler line, which allows you to identify data in specific columns. If the record key is included in the display, the COLS line contains spaces to separate the key’s position, just like the data lines.

The COLS information line is inserted at the top line of the data and the remaining lines are pushed down.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
