Purpose | Use this page to display a banner announcement on each page of the space. Create the Space announcements page in the master space, outside of the Home branch. You can version the Space announcements page to enable different banners to be published into different target spaces, however, the banner that is displayed in the versioned (master) space itself only displays the most recently-published banner. If you find errors in the banner area of your versioned space and you are sure the Space announcements page is set up correctly, try publishing the page to the same space. For more information, see Space-announcements-banners.
Removing | When an announcement is no longer needed, remove the BMC Space Banner macro.
Translation | Localized spaces using the L10n Viewport theme must change the name of this page to Space announcements l10n. See Configuring-the-Scroll-ViewPort-theme-for-translated-spaces.
Usage | Choose one or none of the following BMC Space Banner macros. If your space requires another kind of announcement, you can use this page in coordination with your team lead and editors. |
Data Disguise Menu
Selecting Option 7, Data Disguise, from the File-AID for Db2 Primary Option Menu displays as shown the following figure.
Start with defining the disguise criteria for the objects containing sensitive data that you intend to extract.
You can also disguise existing extracts using the disguise information stored in the Disguise Control File (DCF).
Data Disguise Menu
The top of this screen consists of the following field:
Disguise Control File
Specify the name of the file that contains a list of objects that have related, associated, or unrelated disguise criteria defined. File-AID for Db2 then uses the information from the control file to apply the disguise criteria when disguising an extract.
If the file does not exist, use Option 4, Allocate Disguise Control File to allocate a new file.
Data Disguise Options
Enter the option number (1, 2, or 3) to select the desired option.
1 - Criteria
Select this option when you want to define or modify disguise criteria for objects to be extracted and disguised. Creating a list of objects is always the first step in creating or modifying disguise criteria. Use of the object list as the starting point for criteria creation is based on thinking that criteria will be created for a specific set of objects and having the ability to view these objects together would be helpful. An object list may contain both Db2 and MVS objects. The NEW-Db2-Object-Filter, or NEW-MVS-Object-Filter displays next.
2 - Disguise
Select this option to disguise an existing extract file and apply the disguise criteria rules as defined in the Disguise Control File. File-AID for Db2 displays the Disguise Existing Extract File panel (see Disguise-Existing-Extract-File).
It is possible to use a Disguise Control File with different Relationship Files as long as the set of related objects being disguised has not changed. If there have been changes to the set of related objects, the disguise rules will not be applied to any added relationships. No error checking will be done at disguise execution time.
3 - Parms
Select this option to specify File-AID/Data Solutions parameters that File-AID for Db2 uses to properly connect to File-AID/Data Solutions, including:
- The Disguise Criteria File where File-AID/Data Solutions will store the actual disguise criteria (necessary).
- The Business Rules data set File-AID/Data Solutions uses when operating on date fields; it can also be used by field exits (optional, only needed when applying business rules).
Utilities for Data Disguise
4 - Control
Displays the Allocate Disguise Control File screen (here) where you can allocate a new Disguise Control File (DCF). The File-AID for Db2 Disguise Control File is required for the data disguise function. It is the repository that links disguise criteria with objects.
5 - Criteria
Displays the Allocate Disguise Criteria File screen (here) where you can allocate a new Disguise Criteria File. This file is the repository for detailed disguise criteria.
6- Validate
The Validate/Update Disguise Control File utility is no longer supported.
7 - Print Control
Displays the Print Disguise Control File screen (here) which you can use to print the contents of the disguise control file.
8 - Print Audit
Displays the Print Disguise Audit Trail (here) screen which you can use to print the disguise audit trail information.
