CHANGE (Change String)

The CHANGE primary command locates and changes a string. Use the RCHANGE primary command to repeat execution of the CHANGE command.

Specifies the string of characters to be located. Enclose the string in quotes if it contains any of the following:

string1

  • Special characters
  • Blanks
  • Any characters that could be misinterpreted as a keyword.

string2

Specifies the string of characters to substitute for string1.

ALL

Changes all occurrences of the string.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
