Outline view
To display results at the statement level in the Outline view
Do one of the following:
- From the View menu, select Outline.
- Click
.
The left side of the Outline view lists the following:
- For COBOL: The program’s procedures, divisions, and sections
- For PL/I: The program's procedures, "on" blocks, and labels
The right side includes the source code. Refer to the table below for a description of the columns on the right side.
Column heading | Description |
| Indicates where a tagged statement appears. |
| Marks any line that has been traced during animation. |
Any lines in the Outline view that are red correspond to the settings in the Find Statements dialog box. You can modify what is displayed in the Outline view by selecting different options from this dialog box.
To synchronize the information on both sides of the view
Double-click an item or right-click and select Synchronize from the shortcut menu.
To rearrange the columns on the right side
Click the column head and drag it to a new position.
