What can this product do?

DevEnterprise lets you test, analyze, edit, and debug programs on the workstation, rather than on the mainframe. It is made up of several components:

• Metadata Analyzer analyzes all of your JCL, CICS, COBOL, PL/I, Assembler, and DB2 applications—automatically, behind the scenes—including programs stored in BMC's DDIO source listing file. Multiple users can simultaneously access the information they need to determine the impact of changing copybooks, jobs, Procs, datasets, DB2 columns, fields, etc. . . even across applications.
• Program Analyzer helps you analyze and check for errors in source code.
• Utilities make it easy to transfer source code and other information between the workstation and the host and communicate between the workstation and the mainframe portions of this product.
