Getting familiar with the program you will be changing

To get familiar with a program

1. Open the Program Analyzer.
2. View the program's logic flow to determine what needs to be changed.
3. View the program's structure chart.
4. View the program's data relationships.
5. Use the highlighting options and synchronizing capabilities to identify the type of statement you are looking for. Then look at each occurrence until you find the perform group in which the code change is needed.
