Printing information about entities

You can print the following information about entities:

  • The tree from the Entities view
  • A structure chart
  • The Impact Entities view or Dead Ends view
  • The Impact Path Chart

To print the Entities view tree

The tree view prints as displayed; only folders that are expanded in the tree view will print.

  1. Select a row in the Entities view to activate the Entities view.
  2. From the File menu, select Print. The Print dialog box appears.
  3. Specify the number of copies to be printed.
  4. Specify the page range you want to print.
  5. Click OK.

To print the structure chart

Note: Printing from a plotter will produce better results for larger charts. Even without a plotter, varying the structure chart settings can make large, complex charts useful on smaller paper sizes.

  1. With the structure chart is open, do one of the following:
    • From the File menu, select Print.
    • Click print.jpg.

The Print dialog box appears.

  1. Choose the Print Scaling options you want to use.
  2. Specify the number of copies to be printed.
  3. Specify the page range you want to print.
  4. Click OK.

Note

Before printing, you may want to select Print Preview from the File menu to see how your results will appear. Use the Print Setup command from the File menu to make any necessary printing changes.

  7. Click OK.
