Viewing the status of a collection

If you want to know details about a run of a collection, view the collection's status.

To view a collection's status

  1. Search for the collection
  2. Select it in the Entities view.

  3. Check the Status field in the Properties view. The following statuses are possible:

    • Started: The collection has been starte
    • Successful: The collection has ended successfull
    • Successful with warnings: The collection has ended with warning message
    • Failed: The collection has ended with error Entities collected before the failure are added to the repository.
  4. For details about the status or if the collection has a Failed status, check the log.

Note

To monitor the status of a collection while it is running, review the logging information in the collection window. Another method is to search for entities you expect. For example, for a source collection, search for the programs based on the source library or partial program name. Continued searches should show additional programs being added to the repository.


 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
