This site will undergo a maintenance outage on Saturday, 13 September beginning at 2:30 AM Central/1 PM IST for a platform upgrade. The downtime will be ~three hours.

Report Configuration

Use the Report configuration settings page to automatically append suffixes to profile names by using predefined components. This helps in easily identifying newly created profiles by their names. The suffix is added during the measurement process but not during import, synchronization, or other activities. This feature ensures that profile names are consistent and easily recognizable. A Strobe administrator can access this page and configure the settings.

Important

You cannot configure the report names of CICSPlex profiles.

Accessing

To access the Report configuration settings page, perform the following steps:

  1. On the CES landing page, click Administration > Strobe administration.
  2. On the left navigation bar, click Report configuration.

To configure a profile report name with suffixes

  1. On the Report configuration settings page, click within the Suffixes field and select one or more values to be used as a suffix appended to the profile name.
  2. In the Separator list, click a separator to be used between suffixes in the name.
  3. Click Apply. Any new profiles created through the measurement process will be named based on the suffix values established.
Example

<profilename>_jobname_measurement

To exclude CICS transactions

In the Exclude CICS transactions section, you can select the transactions that you want to delete and click Delete.

To add a CICS transaction to this section, click Add, enter the transaction ID, and click 1748430268315-196.png

You can specify the IDs of CICS transactions that are to be excluded from certain CICS Insight reports and profile reports. These transactions are excluded only when they are either toggled off in the individual reports or the preference is set on the Strobe Preferences page to exclude them from all reports.

Tip

The profile report summary counts continue to reflect all transaction counts.

Transactions are case sensitive and can be up to 4 characters. Valid characters are those defined by IBM.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
