Manage Profile Delete


As a Strobe administrator, use the profile report retention feature to remove profiles from both the file system and the database, either on a scheduled basis or immediately.
Deleting profile reports ensures that performance data remains current and relevant, leading to more accurate assessments.

Accessing

To access the Profile report retention page, perform the following steps:

  1. On the CES landing page, click Administration > Strobe administration.
  2. On the left navigation bar, click Profile retention.
     

To delete profile reports immediately

Use the Immediate tab to delete profile reports immediately, without affecting the recurring schedule, if one has been set.1748429560989-797.png

  1. Delete profile report(s) older than: Select the age of the profile to be deleted in days, weeks, or months.
  2. Delete profile reports from: Select whether to delete profiles from the file system alone or from both the file system and the database.
  3. Enable archiving for profile reports: To enable archiving, toggle this button and either specify a custom location or use the default location provided in the Archive file location (Zip format) field. The location must be local to the system where Strobe is running.
  4. Click Apply.

To schedule profile report deletion

Use the Scheduled tab to schedule profile report deletion at a recurring time. Configure the settings as follows:1748429561006-884.png

  1. Enable delete scheduler: Toggle this to enable profile report deletion.
  2. Run delete scheduler: Select a time frame to run profile report deletion. You can schedule it to run daily, weekly, or monthly.
  3. Delete starting at: Set a starting time to run Profile Delete.
  4. Delete profile report(s) older than: Select the age of the profile to be deleted in days, weeks, or months.
  5. Delete profile report(s) from: Select whether to delete profiles from the file system alone or from both the file system and the database.
  6. Enable archiving for profile reports: To enable archiving, toggle this button and either specify a custom location or use the default location provided in the Archive file location (Zip format) field. The location must be local to the system where Strobe is running.
  7. Click Apply.
