CICS Service Time by User


The CICS Service Time by User report provides information, by user, about all transactions that were seen during the measurement period, including the location and amounts of service time.

All values reported are based on total time and count activity collected by Strobe.

Report details

Transaction baseline shows the baseline threshold (between 00.001 and 99.999 seconds) designated when Strobe created the Performance Profile. All suspend category classes and resources whose average suspend times do not meet this threshold are suppressed. (If no resources meet the threshold, this report will not be produced.)

  • Total Transaction Count shows the total count of all transactions for all users in the report.
  • User ID shows the user associated with a transaction.
  • Count shows the number of times transactions were invoked during the measurement session.
  • Margin of Error shows the margin of error for the transaction.
  • CPU% shows the percent of CPU time used by the transaction.
  • Mean Service Time: Delay shows the average dispatch delay time in seconds of the module name or command.
  • Mean Service Time: Suspend shows the average suspend time in seconds of the transaction, module, command, or resource.
  • Mean Service Time: Exec shows the average execution time in seconds of the transaction, module, command, or resource.
  • Mean service time: Total shows the total time in seconds of the transaction.

  • Margin of Error shows the margin of error for the transaction.
  • CPU% shows the percent of CPU time used by the transaction.

  • Module is the name of the module for which Strobe is detailing service time.
  • Section is the name of the csect within the module for which Strobe is detailing service time.
