Filter the List of Profiles


iStrobe offers a number of ways to filter profiles that appear in the myStrobe window. iStrobe allows profiles to be filtered based on your selections in the filter fields.

The use of wildcards can be used in all filters.

  • Question mark (?) is used to represent a single character.
  • Asterisk (*) is used to represent multiple characters.

Click any of the following filter icons to create your filter:

Filter field allows you type a string of characters.

folder.png

Folder field allows you to filter by folders. Select a folder from the drop-down list box. You may select multiple folders on which to filter.

role.png

Role field allows you to filter by roles. Select a role from the drop-down list box. You may select multiple roles on which to filter.

lpar.png

LPAR field allows you to filter by LPARs. Select an LPAR from the drop-down list box. You may select multiple LPARs on which to filter.

owner_id.png

Owner ID field allows you to filter by the Owner ID of the user who submitted the measurement request. Select an Owner ID from the drop-down list box. You may select multiple Owner IDs on which to filter.

More field allows you to filter by Columns. You may only filter on currently displayed columns. Select a column from the drop-down list box. The selected column will then be displayed to modify filtering criteria. Additional columns may then be individually selected to further refine the filtering.

The filter function maintains the values in the filtered field until you edit or delete the filter values. Clicking refresh will refresh the results while maintaining the filters.


 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
