View a Profile Report


When you select a profile, one of two reports display -- either the Strobe Advisor report or the Measurement Session Data report.

To access iStrobe reports, first click the name of a Profile in the myStrobe window to open it. Then select a report from the Reports menu or by clicking the corresponding icon in the Measurement Session Data report.

From a profile report you can:

  • Click hamburger_menu_icon.png to perform the profile actions at the profile level:
    • Click Delete (with or without database) to delete the profile. For more information, see Delete-a-Profile.
    • Click Rename Profile to modify the name of the profile. For more information, see Rename-a-Profile.
    • Click Move Profile to move the profile across folders. For more information, see Move-a-Profile.
    • Click Email Profile Link to send a link for the profile to email recipients. For more information, see Email-Profile-Link.
    • Click Email Report Link to send a link for the current profile report to email recipients.
    • Click Measurement Request to choose to Resubmit or Edit and Resubmit the measurement request for the profile. The Resubmit option is enabled only if a measurement exists. For more information, see New-Measurement.
  • Click note-none.png to add your own notes to a Performance Profile. The icon changes to notes-exist.png when notes already exist.
  • Click bug.png to Submit a Fix Request. This icon is found in the Program CPU Usage report and the Strobe Advisor General reports.
  • Click list_closed.gif and list_open.gif to view or hide detail about a specific line in a report.
  • Click ExportToPDF.pngto export a profile report as PDF.
  • Click helpicon.png and select iStrobe Help from the Help menu to view a `description of the report, including suggestions for its use.
  • Use the navigation bar to find the page you are looking for.
  • Click underlined data items to see specific performance analysis tips. Types of help include Module-Help and CICS resource help.
  • Create your own customized help, by selecting User-provided help from the Help menu.
  • Printing of a report is accomplished through the print function in the browser.
