Report Configuration

The Profile Name Configuration tab allows you to automatically append profile names with suffixes using predefined components to easily identify newly created profiles by name. The new suffix will only be appended to the profile name created through the measurement process. The suffix, however, will not be appended to the profile name during import, synchronization, or any other activity.

Configure a profile name with suffixes

1. From the Administration section of iStrobe, click Profile Name Configuration.
2. Click within the Suffixes field and select one or more values to be used as a suffix appended to the profile name.
3. In the Separator list, click a separator to be used between suffixes in the name.
4. Click Apply. Any new profiles created through the measurement process will be named based on the suffix values established.

CICS Transactions

The CICS Transactions tab allows you to enter CICS transactions to be excluded from certain CICS Insight reports and profile reports. These transactions will be excluded only when they are either toggled off in the individual reports or the preference is set in User Preferences to exclude them from all reports.

Transactions are case sensitive and can be up to 4 characters. Valid characters are those defined by IBM.
