NUMPROC

NUMPROC directs how packed/zoned decimal signs are processed. Review these settings for the best performance for your application.

  • NUMPROC(NOPFD) is the slowest.
  • NUMPROC(MIG) is faster. It is not supported in Enterprise COBOL Version 5.1 and later.
  • NUMPROC(PFD) is the fastest.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
