Creating a custom PDF

Warning
Important

We are working to improve the PDF export experience. We are currently working on the following issues:

  • Page order—If you export more than one page to PDF, they might be displayed in alphabetical order instead of the order in the interface.
  • Interface update—The export interface options are changing, so these instructions might not match them exactly.
  • Known limitations—PDF exports are not always completed successfully.
    Thank you for your patience.
  1. Navigate to the PDFs or PDFs and videos page in your master space.
  2. Check whether the Creating a custom PDF section heading is blue instead of black.
  3. Select Edit > Wiki.
  4. Locate the line in the code corresponding to the Creating a custom PDF heading.
  5. If in step 3 you noticed that the heading was blue, delete the following code from before and after Creating a custom PDF: (% style="color:#003366" %) and (%%)
  6. Replace all the content following the Creating a custom PDF section (but not the heading itself) until the next heading with the following code:
    {{includeLibrary keyReference="Mainframe.Resources.zsoProdNameRefMaster.Common-content._PDFs.WebHome"/}}
  7. Click Save & View.
  8. Change the page status to Complete:
    1. In the shaded box above the page title, click Edit Edit the new location.png next to Status.
    2. From the menu, select Complete.
    3. Click Save save button.png.
  9. Publish your space to its target space.
