BMC AMI Common Enterprise Services (CES) is a required web platform component providing common services for both BMC AMI Products for Web and BMC AMI DevX Workbench for Eclipse.

From BMC AMI Common Enterprise Services, you are able to navigate between other installed BMC AMI Products for Web such as: BMC AMI DevX Abend-AID, BMC AMI Security Session Monitor, BMC AMI DevX Code Pipeline, BMC AMI iStrobe, BMC AMI Ops Automation for Batch ThruPut, BMC Compuware Topaz for Java Performance, and BMC AMI DevX Total Test.

Creating a custom PDF

Important

Known limitations—PDF exports are not always completed successfully.
Thank you for your patience.

Navigate to the PDFs or PDFs and videos page in your master space.
Check whether the Creating a custom PDF section heading is blue instead of black.
Select Edit > Wiki.
Locate the line in the code corresponding to the Creating a custom PDF heading.
If in step 3 you noticed that the heading was blue, delete the following code from before and after Creating a custom PDF: (% style="color:#003366" %) and (%%)
Replace all the content following the Creating a custom PDF section (but not the heading itself) until the next heading with the following code:

Click Save & View.
Change the page status to Complete:
1. In the shaded box above the page title, click Edit next to Status.
2. From the menu, select Complete.
3. Click Save .
Publish your space to its target space.

1. If you are not logged in, click the head icon at the top-right of the window, select Log in, and follow the instructions:
2. Navigate to the page that you want to export to PDF. To create a PDF of the whole space, navigate to the space home page.
3. Next to the page title, click Export .
4. In the Export dialog box, click PDF:
5. In the Export as PDF dialog box, perform one of these steps:
  To create a PDF of that page only, proceed to step 6.
  To create a PDF of that page and its child pages, click select all.
  To create a PDF of that page and a selection of its child pages, select the checkboxes next to the pages that you want to include your PDF.
6. Click Export.
7. In the PDF Export Options dialog box, select the checkboxes for the features that you want to include in your PDF.
  Success
  Tip
  If you are creating a PDF of a single page, clear the Table of Contents checkbox.
8. Click Export.
  The PDF is created.
9. Save the PDF locally.
