Performance Profile Dataset

The Performance Profile is a collection of reports that details the activity of an online subsystem or batch processing program.

Strobe Performance Profile

The Performance Profile, which is normally assigned to a SYSOUT dataset, has fixed-length, 121-character records with an ANSI carriage control character in the first position of each record. The block size is 2904 bytes.

iStrobe Performance Profile

iStrobe provides a dynamically customizable view of Performance Profile data using a web browser. iStrobe uses an XML-based format for the Performance Profile. The record format is VB and the block size is variable based on the device type.
