List Strobe Modules Using STRMODLS

BMC Support may ask you to run STRMODLS, which is a batch utility designed to list your Strobe run-time modules along with their specific release information.

Sample JCL to execute STRMODLS is provided in member SBMODS of Strobe installation sample library hlq.SSTRSAMP. Edit the JCL according to the comments in the SBMODS member.

Verify that the STEPLIB DD statement contains both your authorized and unauthorized Strobe run-time libraries. Also verify that the dataset name entered in the SBNAMES DD statement contains the list of Strobe module names. Please send the complete job output once STRMODLS has been run.

To make it simpler for you to send this information to BMC Support, Strobe provides a packaging utility. See the Using-Strobe-to-measure-online-applications-and-batch-programs for more information.
