CA Endevor explorer


There are four types of Eclipse panels under the CA Endevor Explorer:

  • Endevor Sources
  • Endevor Reports
  • Endevor Packages
  • Endevor Purge

Endevor sources

The Endevor Sources panel is used to perform all requested actions of the workspace defined on the Configuration option. The components displayed within this panel usually reside on your documents folder or on a network drive.

There are a few file types used by the Topaz Connect Eclipse Plugin. Each file will be a copy of the CA Endevor element if the check-out for browse was performed, an updated version if the checkout was done for update, or a pointer of the z/OS data set where the check-out was performed.

worddavf433c6916258784486582d0aabd28079.png application element file is a READ/WRITE file (checkout for update or new element).

The file extension is managed by the configuration of the Plugin (see Managing your element editor section).

Endevor reports

The Endevor Reports panel provides CA Endevor reports associated with the elements.

There are a few file types used by the Topaz Connect Eclipse Plugin:

Endevor packages

The Endevor Packages panel provides CA Endevor packages related data.
