We are announcing enhancement to the BMC Compuware Compuware Shared Services product.

Overview of the enhancement

You can now convert an ESS member to a DDIO member, using the COPY utility function.

Obtaining the enhancement

PTF CXSF73A enables the enhancement.

To obtain PTFs, use the IBM SMP/E RECEIVE ORDER command. For more information about using RECEIVE ORDER for BMC products, seeUsing SMP/E RECEIVE ORDER.

Downloading the Release

To download this version of the product from the BMC Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) website, follow these steps:

  1. Go toProduct Downloads in BMC Support Central. 

    Important

    If the Export Compliance And Access Terms page is displayed, enter the relevant data and click Continue.

  2. Click either of the following interfaces and perform the relevant steps:

    • Product Download Tool

      Important

      • On the EPD web page, Licensed Products is selected by default.
      • You must enable pop-ups for this web page in your browser.

      1. Browse the list of products and click BMC Compuware Enterprise Common Components.

        Tips

        • You can search for the product in the Search for Product field.
        • If you have marked a product as your favorite, click Favorites.

        The supported versions of the product are displayed.

      2. Click 17.02.00 under the product name.
        A new browser tab opens containing all downloadable files for the release.
      3. Select the necessary files and click Download.

    • Legacy EPD Tool

      Important

      On the EPD web page, Products is selected by default.

      1. Browse the list of products and click BMC Compuware Enterprise Common Components.

        Tips

        • In the Enter product name field, type the product name and click Go to filter your product.
        • If you have marked a product as your favorite, click Show Favorites.

        The BMC Compuware Enterprise Common Components dialog box is displayed with the Version field set to 17.02.00.

      2. Select the necessary files and click Download.
