Log out from HCI connection


You can log out from the HCI connection in the following ways:

  • Using the Log Out option
  • Using the command palette

To log out from the HCI connection by using the Log Out option

  1. Right-click the HCI connection and click Log Out. A notification message is displayed for successful or unsuccessful logout.

To log out from the HCI connection by using the command palette

  1. From the menu bar, click View and then click Command Palette. You can also press Ctrl+Shift+to open the command palette.
  2. In the command palette, start typing Log Out. You can view DevX Explorer: Log Out from HCI Connection command in the list. 
  3. Click the DevX Explorer: Log Out from HCI Connection command in the list to log out. 

    Important

    Log out through the command palette covers the following scenarios:

    • If no HCI connection is present and you try to log out,  prompts with the error message You are not logged in to any HCI connection. To login to a connection, issue the command - DevX Explorer: Log In to HCI connection.
    • When a single HCI Connection is present, you will be logged out immediately.
    • Multiple HCI Connections are present, you can view the quick pick with the list of inactive connections. You can select the required HCI connection.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
