Editing an HCI connection
You can edit the connection details mentioned at the time of creating an HCI connection, except the connection name.
To edit an HCI connection
- Right-click the connection name that you want to edit and click Edit Connection.
The Edit HCI Connection panel displays. - In the Edit HCI Connection panel, you can edit the following fields:
- z/OS host name or IP address where HCI is running.
- Port number.
- Select the Connection type. If you do not select any connection type, the connection type Unsecure will be set as default.
- Host code page to use for transferring data. The default host code page value is 1047.
User ID and password.
After editing, the notification mssage is displayed as, "HCI connection <connection name> was updated", and then you will be able to log in with updated connection details.
