Login password getting revoked
If you try to log in repeatedly with the wrong password your password gets revoked. You can recover your password by performing the following steps.
To recover the password
- Get fresh credentials for the LPAR.
- Identify related connections.
- If you are using Windows, go to Control Panel >User Accounts >Credential Manager, and if you are using Mac go to Apple Keychain.
- Look for all entries having WorkbenchExplorer for versions starting from 22.10.
- Delete the entries related to the connection profiles.
- Re-try logging in to the connection. You will see the prompt for the credentials.
- Enter newly generated valid credentials. You will be able to successfully log in.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
