Turn on/off diagnostic tracing for client logs
You can turn on and off diagnostic tracing to trace all DevX Explorer extensions. When you turn on the tracing it will provide client-level logs.
To use the diagnostic tracing command
- From the menu bar, click View and then click Command Palette. You can also press Ctrl+Shift+P to open the command palette.
- In the command palette, start typing DevX Explorer: Turn. You can view DevX Explorer: Turn On Diagnostic Tracing commands in the list.
- Select the DevX Explorer: Turn On Diagnostics Tracing command to turn on the tracing of all DevX Explorer extensions. You can turn off the tracing by clicking the turn off tracing link displayed in the notification displayed when the tracing is on.
Alternatively, in the command palette, start typing DevX Explorer: Turn. You can view the DevX Explorer: Turn Off Diagnostics Tracing command in the list. Select the command to turn off the tracing. You can see the DevX Explorer: Turn Off Diagnostics Tracing command in the command list when the tracing is on.
The tracing will automatically stop when you generate the diagnostic report using the DevX Explorer: Generate Diagnostics Report command.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
