Using DevX Code Coverage

BMC AMI DevX Workbench Code Coverage is an advanced analysis tool that helps you easily identify how much of an application has been run during testing and which parts of the code have been run during debugging, highlighting the untested sections.

Code coverage performs the following actions:

  • Captures code execution statistics
  • Works seamlessly with the DevX Code Debug extension.

Code Coverage helps identify which parts of the code have been executed during debugging and highlights the untested sections. It generates detailed reports that analyze testing efficiency and assess risk metrics for mainframe programs written in COBOL, PL/I, and High-Level Assembler.

You can use DevX Code Coverage with Code Debug TSO as a part of the first release.
