Viewing metadata for Db2 table

  1. In the DATABASE view, expand the filter. Under filters, you see the tables grouped as per the name of the creators and you can view these groups as <SSID>:<Creator ID>. 
  2. Expand the group to view the respective tables under it.
  3. Right-click on the table and select View Metadata to view the table metadata. The metadata table is displayed. You can view each row denoting the selected table's name, supported type, and column length.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
