To compare and merge task

In the ASSIGNMENTS view, you can compare two task versions to see their differences. You can merge the data to the task versions that are at the TEST level.

  1. In the ASSIGNMENTS view, right-click on the task that you want to browse and click Compare With....
  2. From the Select component Version to compare drop-down, select the task version that you want to compare with. After you choose the task version successfully, the two versions of the task are displayed in the editor and the differences between the two versions are highlighted.

  3. To merge, the difference, click the arrow between the highlighted code and press ctrl + s to save it.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
