Uninstalling

This topic provides information about how to uninstall the BMC AMI DevX Workbench Explorer and BMC AMI DevX Workbench Code Debug extensions.

To uninstall the extensions

  1. Open Visual Studio Code.
  2. In the left side activity bar, click the Extensions icon (image2022-8-25_19-30-45.png). Under INSTALLED, you can see the BMC AMI DevX Workbench Explorer, BMC AMI DevX Workbench Code Debug, andBMC AMI DevX Workbench Code Pipeline extensions.
  3. Click on the required extension that you want to uninstall. The Extension: <Extension name> page is displayed. 

  4. In the Extension: <Extension name> page, click Uninstall. Once the uninstallation is completed, VS Code prompts to reload. 

    Important

    You must reload VS Code twice after the uninstallation. The first time, when the uninstallation is completed and VS Codes prompts for reloading, and the second time, you must reload it manually again. This helps to clear the user cache from your system.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
