Configuring procedure libraries

The setting resolves the procedure library (Proc libs) referenced in JCL, which will help auto-populate steps and programs in the debug configuration.

To configure proc libraries

  1. Click Settings > User > Extensions > DevX Code Debug > Batch.

  2. Click the configure proc libraries in a form link. Additionally, in the command palette, start typing DevX Code Debug and select DevX Code Debug: Configure PROCLIBs for batch debugging command from the list.
    The JCL Proclibs for Code Debug Batch Configuration page is displayed.

  3. Select the HCI connection name from the list and add Proc libraries for the selected connection. You must provide a valid data set name and the data set must be present in the selected connection, otherwise,  you will see an error notification.
  4. Click Save Configuration. This saves your configuration in user settings.


 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
