Enabling and disabling usage data collection

BMC AMI DevX Workbench for VS Code allows you to enable and disable usage data collection for telemetry analysis. By default, this option is enabled. 

To enable or disable usage data collection

  1. On the VS Code application, click the Manage icon (image2022-8-23_21-35-26.png) > Settings, and in the search bar search for Devx Workbench: Telemetry. 

  2. In the Devx Workbench: Telemetry setting, select the check box to enable the usage data collection or clear the check box to disable it.

    Important

    Microsoft's Telemetry Level must be set to all in order to enable usage data collection from BMC AMI DevX Workbench for VS Code.
