View properties of a GDG
The properties of a generation data group (GDG)—such as the active generations, purge setting, and scratch setting—can be viewed in Host Explorer.
To view property information
In Host Explorer, right-click the GDG and select Properties. The Properties view populates with information about the selection.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
