Relational Database Modes

When working with relational database data, the File-AID Data Editor data display presents the data in a table format. Columns of the table represent database table/view columns with the heading containing column information metadata, including column name and data type, and key indicators. Rows of the table represent database table/view rows. This data display is called Formatted Table Mode.
A second display mode, called Row mode, is available to zoom in on a selected row. The icon at the top right of the data display will cause the data display area to split and will present the currently selected (or first) row of the table mode in the lower portion of the screen in a matrix. Columns of the matrix contain column names, metadata, and column values. Each row of the matrix is one column of the selected row.
